The Los Angeles Lakers look to continue their red-hot play when they host the Philadelphia 76ers
The Los Angeles Lakers finally appear to have figured out what their early-season problems were, as the team goes for their seventh win in eight games Tuesday against the 76ers.
The Lakers have seen an offensive explosion in recent weeks, as they are averaging 107.1 points per game during this recent 6-1 stretch. A big reason for this has been the return of point guard Steve Nash, whose floor general abilities have led to a great rise in the Lakers assists per game, going from 21 per game in his absence to 28 with him.
As for the 76ers, they are trending in the opposite direction as they have lost eight of their last 10 games. They have also had tremendous problems winning games on the road, as they are losers of eight of their last nine away from the Wells Fargo Center.
In order to pick up a win at the Staple's Center, Philadelphia will needed continued contributions from Jrue Holiday, who is currently averaging a career-high 18.6 points per game.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT.
