UCLA injury report: Devin Lucien reportedly has broken collarbone

Richard Mackson-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Devin Lucien reportedly suffered a broken clavicle against Colorado on Saturday.

After leaving the UCLA Bruins' 42-14 victory over the Colorado Buffaloes in the first quarter with an apparent injury, the news out of Boulder, Colo., is that UCLA receiver Devin Lucien reportedly suffered a broken clavicle, and there is no timetable for his return.

Lucien was taken to the locker room after sustaining the injury in the first quarter. He returned to the sideline in the fourth quarter in plain clothes and wearing a sling. Recovery time for a broken clavicle is usually between six and eight weeks, according to the Los Angeles Daily News. Lucien hauled in two receptions for 23 yards before leaving Saturday's victory in Boulder.

On the year, Lucien had brought in eight receptions for 165 yards before the Pac-12 showdown with the Buffaloes, his best game coming against the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Bruins' upset victory, where Lucien caught three receptions for 70 yards.

The freshman wideout was a Rivals four-star receiver coming out of high school.
