Tour Championship 2012 Leaderboard: Tiger Woods Leads After First Round

After the first round of play at the 2012 Tour Championship, Tiger Woods is tied with Justin Rose for the overall tournament lead. Despite a rocky start to the day, Woods played well down the back-nine and is now at 4-under after 18 holes.

Scott Piercy, Bo Van Pelt, Matt Kuchar and Steve Stricker are all tied for third place at 3-under overall and just one stroke back of the leaders. Hunter Mahan, Adam Scott, Robert Garrigus, Zach Johnson and Brandt Snedeker are tied for seventh place at 2-under par. Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy, who currently leads the FedEx Cup Standings, are two of seven golfers currently tied for 12th at 1-under overall.

The second round of the 2012 Tour Championship is scheduled to begin early Friday morning at East Lake Golf Course in Atlanta, Ga.
