The Los Angeles Angels had a misstep this week but are far from out of the Wild Card race. Although dropping three of four games at home to the Oakland Athletics was certainly not ideal, the Angels bounced back for a 6-0 win in that series finale on Thursday's getaway day. Now they'll hope to carry a bit of momentum into a three-game weekend series against the Kansas City Royals at Kaufman Stadium.

The Royals will certainly not be pushovers, but will be a decent tune-up for a key series next week between the Halos and the Texas Rangers. Meanwhile, the A's will be hosting the red-hot Baltimore Orioles. This could be a key opportunity for Los Angeles to make something happen.

Friday's game will begin at 5:10 p.m. PT and will be televised on FOX Sports West. You can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. C.J. Wilson has a three-game winning streak going and will be attempting to improve to 13-9. He'll go up against Bruce Chen, who has had an uneven second half. Chen is currently 10-12 with a 5.36 ERA.

Saturday's game will get started at 4:10 p.m. PT. Although the game will not be televised, you can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. Zack Greinke had a quality start in his last outing and can pick up his sixth win as a member of the Halos. The Royals will have Jeremy Guthrie going to the hill, who is 4-3 with a 3.23 ERA.

Sunday's finale will kick off at 11:10 a.m. PT and will be televised on FOX Sports West. You can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. Dan Haren has only given up four earned runs over his last three starts and will hope to even out his 10-11 record on Sunday. His opponent will be Will Smith, who is 5-7 with a 4.94 ERA.
