Vin Scully & A Perfect Moment At Dodger Stadium

Thursday night before the Los Angeles Dodgers hosted the Arizona Diamondbacks, legendary announcer Vin Scully threw out a ceremonial first pitch, on his bobblehead night at Dodger Stadium.

Scully, who announced last weekend that he would return to call Dodgers games in 2013 for an astonishing 64th season, was accompanied to the field by 15 grandchildren, who all participated in the pregame ceremony.

The moment at Chavez Ravine was so perfect, Mother Nature intervened and provided a rainbow for the backdrop (photo per Whitney Holtzman):
