The Barclays will feature Tiger Woods going up against Rory McIlroy again.
Cypress-born Tiger Woods heads to the Barclays to try and win there for the first time. He'll be paired up with Rory McIlroy for the first two rounds as well as Zach Johnson.
Tiger's head-to-head history with Rory has been documented by CBS Sports, and this will be the third time this season they've been together at a tournament. Woods played McIlroy the first three rounds of the Abu Dhabi Classic, playing each other pretty close each time. Tiger won the battles (he led through the first three days) but lost the war, as McIlroy had the better fourth round and finished in second. The two have also played the Honda Classic, where Woods sparked murmurs of a return to form with a final round 62.
The Barclays has been rotating around several Metropolitan New York courses lately. After spending much of its entire life at Westchester Country Club, The Barclays has been rotating around, from Ridgewood Country Club to Liberty National to Plainfield Country Club. This year it moves to Bethpage Black, the site of the 2002 and 2009 U.S. Open Championships.
