PGA Championship Scores And Results: Tiger Woods Struggles Early, Round 3 Postponed Due To Weather

Stay connected for news and updates

Round 3 of the 2012 PGA Championship will have to wait until Sunday morning, as play was suspended midway through the round due to inclement weather. That may be good news for Tiger Woods, who was struggling early and may be able to turn things around with the break. Woods opened the day tied for first with Singh and Carl Pettersson, and of the three only Singh remained in the lead when play was suspended.

Singh is currently tied for first with Rory McIlroy, both men sitting at 6-under overall. Pettersson shot an even par on the day, settling at 4-under and in fourth place. Woods has struggled, picking up three bogeys in the first seven holes, and currently sits in 11th palce, 1-under for the tournament at 3-over for the day.

Play resumes at 4:45 a.m. PT, with the final round getting started at 8:30 a.m. PT. For a live leaderboard, head over to Golf.com.
