USA Gymnastics: Kyla Ross, Sam Mikulak, McKayla Maroney Your L.A. Gymnasts

There are three gymnasts from the Los Angeles area that will be competing in the 2012 Olympic Games.

On the women's team, Kyla Ross came from the hometown of Aliso Viejo. The youngest member of the women's team, Ross finished fifth in the all-around, first on the uneven bars and third on the balance beam and was selected at the Olympic trials.

Joining Ross is McKayla Maroney from Long Beach, who placed 7th in the all-around, first in the vault, and fifth on the seventh floor. Maroney has a sore foot going into London, which could be a cause for concern.

Sam Mikulak hails from Newport Coast, California and attended the University of Michigan. He didn't participate much in the trials because of an ankle sprain, but he is considered one of the up-and-coming talents in gymnastics after winning the all-around competition in the 2012 NCAA championship.
