Mercury Insurance Open 2012: Marion Bartoli Will Play Dominika Cibulkova In Sunday's Finals

The 2012 Mercury Insurance Open has arrived at its final day in Carlsbad. The finals of the WTA tune-up tournament for the U.S. Open will take place on Sunday, as the top two seeds in the annual women's event will face off.

No. 1 seed Marion Bartoli of France will go toe-to-toe with No. 2 seed Dominika Cibulkova of Slovakia. Cibulkova defeated No. 4 seed Nadia Petrova in straight sets to advance, while Bartoli had an epic three-set match with qualifier Yung-Jan Chan before picking up the win to advance. Chan had a spectacular and surprising run through the tournament, but fell just short of reaching the finals.

ESPN 2 will carry the finals match from coast to coast on Sunday. The live coverage will begin at 2 p.m. PT and will run until roughly 4 p.m. PT.
