2012 British Open Leaderboard: Tiger Woods Holding Strong In Third Round

Stay connected for news and updates

Tiger Woods has made a spot for himself near the top of the leaderboard for the 2012 British Open throughout the week, and he's playing well on Saturday yet again. Woods, who entered the day in third place at -6 overall, bogeyed holes one and three in the early going, but a mid-round rally helped bring him to -1 through 14 holes.

Adam Scott currently leads the field at -11. He was at three-under-par through 11 holes, although a bogey on 13 has been the lone bad spot of the day. Brandt Snedeker, who led the field after two rounds, has not been good on Saturday and is currently at +5 with just four holes left to play. He sits at -5 overall at the Open Championship.

Rory McIlroy continued to struggle and is out of the running with another poor round. He shot a 73 (+3) on Saturday, dropping him to +5 overall. Phil Mickelson was cut on Friday and is no longer playing.
