Pacquiao Vs. Bradley: Floyd Mayweather Won't Watch Pay-Per-View Bout From Jail

Stay connected for news and updates

For quite some time the boxing world had been waiting to watch Manny Pacquaio and Floyd Mayweather together in the same ring. But for this weekend, as per usual, we have to settle for Pacquaio or Mayweather. Pacquaio will face Palm Springs native Timothy Bradley Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in a pay-per-view event. But it appears that Mayweather won't be watching the fight.

Mayweather began his three-month jail sentence in Clark County, Nevada last Friday and his jail won't be forking over the money for the pay-per-view bout.

"Nothing special is being done to provide this television program or any other program in the jail," spokesman Bill Cassell told Jim Halley of USA Today. "We don't plan on having pay-for-view in the jail. Now, if ESPN or some other channel runs a repeat, he may be able to view it then."

Pacquaio is a heavy favorite over Bradley in Saturday's fight.
