The Lakeshow travels to Denver for game three on Friday night. Can the Nuggets stop Black Mamba and company?
Kobe Bryant is dominating — and unless the Denver Nuggets find a way to contain him, they might be swept out of the playoffs. The Black Mamba is averaging 34.5 points per game in the series with the Los Angels Lakers in control of the series, leading 2-0.
The Nuggets will also have their hands full trying to limit Lakers center Andrew Bynum's production. In game one Bynum posted a triple-double (10 points, 13 rebounds, 10 blocks) and then in game he put up 27 points.
The Nuggets hosted the Lakers twice in Denver during the regular season, with the Nuggets winning 99-90 on New Year's Day and the Lakers pulling out a 93-89 victory in early February.
