Stage seven of the 2012 Amgen Tour of California promises to be a decisive stage where whoever wants to win the yellow leader's jersey will have to take it from his rivals. Mt. Baldy saw stage seven in the 2011 Tour, and on that day Team Radioshack drove a relentless pace to deliver Chris Horner to the overall victory. Horner is more than two minutes back this year, and unlikely to be able to get that time back no matter how well he rides on Saturday.
It's Mt. Baldy or nothing for the riders in the 2012 Tour of California, so expects attacks, counter attacks, and desperate men making desperate moves.
