I'll Have Another was a decent mid-range pick to win the 2012 Kentucky Derby, and he proved his worth with a photo finish, edging out Bodemeister. I'll Have Another is coming into the Preakness on a three race winning streak, and he'll be looking to complete in the second part of the Triple Crown this upcoming Saturday at Pimlico.
I'll Have Another has competed in three races this year, and hasn't lost yet. He's going to be the prohibitive favorite here, but he'll have a tough race ahead of him considering how close he came in winning the Derby. The Preakness is the shortest of the three races in the Triple Crown at 9.5 furlongs and the best of all the races.
The Preakness will be the next-to-last race this week at Pimlico. Here is the full schedule of events leading up to Saturday's race. All races are Eastern Standard time.
