College Baseball Rankings: UCLA Bruins Rise To No. 5

UCLA is 20-5 on the season.

The UCLA Bruins completed a weekend road sweep of the Utah Utes over the weekend, and as a result have achieved their highest college baseball ranking for the season. UCLA moved up one spot to No. 5 in the latest Baseball America college baseball rankings.

UCLA is one of three Pac-12 Conference teams in the top six, headed by No. 4 Arizona, who swept previously No. 2 Stanford. The Cardinal dropped four spots to No. 6. Here is the top 10:

  1. Florida
  2. Florida State
  3. North Carolina
  4. Arizona
  5. UCLA
  6. Stanford
  7. Texas A&M
  8. Kentucky
  9. Rice
  10. Mississippi

Cal State Fullerton dropped one spot to No. 14 after a 3-2 week.

UCLA returns home this weekend to host the No. 22 Oregon Ducks at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Oregon is one of six Pac-12 teams ranked in the top 25, joined by No. 20 Oregon State and No. 24 Arizona State.
