The Big West Tournament is underway and we have arrived at the semifinals. Just two games sit between four teams and a potential conference title and automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA Tournament. In the first game on Friday night, the No. 1 seed Long Beach St. 49ers will face the No. 7 seed UC Irvine Anteaters. LBSU are the heavy favorites to win the tournament and dominated UC Davis in the first round, while UCI pulled the upset against Cal State Fullerton.

Start Time: Tipoff is set 6:30 PST.

Regular Season Matchups: The 49ers swept the season series, winning both at home and on the road. They won the first matchup by 14 @ UCI, and they dominated the Anteaters at home by a score of 77-50.
