The Cal State Fullerton Titans closed out their regular season with their biggest win of the year, a home win over previously undefeated Long Beach State last Saturday. The Titans hope to carry that over into the 2012 Big West Tournament, which begins on Thursday at the Honda Center in Anaheim against the UC Irvine Anteaters. Here are the relevant details of Thursday afternoon's college basketball action:

Records and Seeds: No. 2 seed Cal State Fullerton (21-8, 12-4); No. 7 seed UC Irvine (11-19, 6-10)

Location: Honda Center in Anaheim

Time: 2:30 p.m. PST (approximately 30 minutes after the first game ends)

Series History: Fullerton beat Irvine twice this season in a pair of close affairs. The Titans won 92-84 on Janaury 23 in Irvine, then won 100-94 on February 9 at home in Fullerton. Cal State Fullerton is 6-1 all-time against Irvine in the Big West Tournament.
