WCC Tournament Bracket Update: Six Teams Remain

The 2012 West Coast Conference Basketball Championships continued Thursday night at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, and so far the chalk has prevailed, with the higher seed winning all three games. On Thursday night the No. 5 seed San Francisco Dons easily beat the No. 8 seed Portland Pilots 87-66 behind 19 points from both Rashad Green and Angelo Caloiaro.

The No. 7 Pepperdine Waves were eliminated with a 76-54 loss at the hands of the No. 6 San Diego Toreros, behind 30 points from a hot-shooting Johnny Dee. Six teams remain, and here is the remaining tournament schedule:

Friday, March 2

No. 4 Loyola Marymount vs. No. 5 San Francisco (6 p.m., ESPNU)

No. 3 BYU vs. No. 6 San Diego (8 p.m., ESPNU)

Saturday, March 3

No. 1 Saint Mary's vs. LMU/USF winner (6 p.m., ESPN2)

No. 2 Gonzaga vs. BYU/USD winner (8 p.m., ESPN2)

Monday, March 5

Championship Game (6 p.m., ESPN)
