2012 NIT Tournament Schedule And Bracket: Stanford Looks To Advance To Quarterfinal

The Pac-12 Conference may no longer be alive in the NCAA Tournament, but they have three teams going strong in the NIT. The Stanford Cardinal look to join the Washington Huskies and Oregon Ducks in the tournament quarterfinals with their game on Monday night against the Illinois State Redbirds at Maples Pavilion in Palo Alto. That is one of three games on the NIT schedule on Monday.

4 p.m. - No. 4 seed Middle Tennessee State at No. 1 Tennessee (ESPN)

6 p.m. - No. 6 Minnesota at No. 2 Miami (ESPN)

8:30 p.m. - No. 7 Illinois State at No. 3 Stanford: The ESPN2 telecast will feature Roxy Bernstein on play-by-play and Mark Adams as the analyst.

The winner of Stanford vs. Illinois State will face the Nevada Wolfpack on Wednesday. The semifinals of the NIT will be held in Madison Square Garden in New York. Click here for a full NIT bracket.
