NCAA Tournament 2012: Long Beach State Offers Must-See Second Round Matchup

The Long Beach St. 49ers are preparing for the 2012 NCAA Tournament. Although they're only a No. 12 seed, they have a decent shot at making some noise in March Madness.

SB Nation basketball editor Mike Rutherford offers five points of analysis regarding the bracket announcements. He runs down the can't-miss matchups of the second round and singles out Long Beach's first game as a must see.

2. 5) New Mexico Lobos vs. 12) Long Beach State (West)

The Beach doesn’t have an answer for Drew Gordon inside, but it’s going to be equally difficult for the Lobos to slow Casper Ware and company.
