The Pepperdine Waves won their last two games of the season to avoid playing in the No. 8 vs. No. 9 game on Wednesday night, and look for a third consecutive victory on Thursday against the San Diego Toreros in the second game of the night. Series History: Pepperdine leads the all-time series history with San Diego 56-36, and the two schools have met six times in the last eight years in the WCC Tournament.
