Long Beach State Vs. Northridge Final Score: Casper Ware Ties School Assist Record In 75-67 Win

The Long Beach State 49ers continued their romp through the Big West Conference on Saturday night,beating the Cal State Northridge Matadors 75-67 at the Walter Pyramid. The win was the 18th consecutive regular season Big West win for the 49ers (17-6, 10-0), who have won 10 straight games.

Long Beach State also extended their home winning streak to 19 games, the seventh longest active home winning streak in Division I. The 49ers have beaten the Matadors six straight times.

Casper Ware had three assists on the night, tying Billy Walker for the most assists in Long Beach State history, with 507. Both are tied for 10th all-time in Big West history. Josh Greene scored a career-high 26 points for Northridge (6-15, 2-8).

Long Beach State doesn't have another home game for 18 days, and they hit the road next week beginning with a Thursday night battle in Stockton against the Pacific Tigers.
