The Gonzaga Bulldogs kept their West Coast Conference regular season title hopes alive this week as they won their showdown with the Saint Mary's Gaels on Thursday night in a battle of the top two teams in the conference. Gonzaga beat Saint Mary's at home 73-59 to pull to within one game of the Gaels in the loss column.
The Loyola Marymount Lions had the displeasure of facing Gonzaga next, and lost 78-59 in Spokane on Saturday night, snapping the Lions' six-game road winning streak. Here are the update WCC standings.

With three conference games remaining, Loyola Marymount needs one win or a loss by the San Francisco Dons to clinch no worse than fourth place and a bye through the first day of the West Coast Conference Tournament. LMU hits the road to face Saint Mary's on Wednesday night.
