UCLA will don their true blue, USC will put on their cardinal and the two teams will square off at the picturesque Rose Bowl on Saturday afternoon for the Pac-12 South title and the entire nation will be able to watch thanks to FOX, which chose the game for it's national 12 p.m. PT broadcast slot. The game time and TV channel was determined late on Saturday night.
The Bruins and Trojans are both ranked heading into Saturday's clash, with UCLA checking at at 17th and USC at 21st. UCLA holds a half-game lead over USC in the Pac-12 South and can claim the division title outright with a win. A Trojan win guarantees them a share of the division title at worst and hands them the tiebreaker, which would put them in the Pac-12 Championship Game as well so it really is a Pac-12 South decider.
While UCLA does have a 8-2 mark to USC's 7-3 record, recent history is firmly on the side of the Trojans. They have beaten the Bruins in 12 of their last 13 meetings, including the previous five.
The LA City Championship is one of two huge games in the Pac-12 on Saturday, along with Oregon vs. Stanford. The Ducks and Cardinal will kick off at 5 p.m. PT on ABC.
