The Los Angeles Clippers will open up their 2012 preseason at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Oct. 6.
The Los Angeles Clippers will take on the Denver Nuggets in each team's first action of the 2012 preseason at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m. PT.
Fox Sports Prime Ticket will air the broadcast locally, and it can be heard on the radio on channel 980 AM. All-Star point guard Chris Paul will not play in the game as he recovers from offseason thumb surgery, and Chauncey Billups will also miss the game due to his recovery from a torn Achilles suffered last season.
Forward Blake Griffin is not on the injury report after a knee injury caused him to miss the 2012 London Olympics after being selected for the squad. Newcomer Willie Green is expected to get the start at guard after the Clippers acquired him from the Atlanta Hawks on Jul. 30.
It will be the Clippers' first opportunity to get a look at Denver's newest acquisition, Andre Iguodala following an Aug. 10 trade from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Nuggets.
