2012 BCS rankings, Week 10: USC Trojans drop to No. 17, UCLA Bruins not ranked

The Trojans slipped eight spots in the BCS after losing to Arizona this weekend.

The BCS standings for Week 10 have been released. The USC Trojans were ranked ninth as of Saturday, but a tough road loss to Arizona dropped them eight spots to No. 17. The UCLA Bruins remain unranked despite a big road win over Arizona State.

Alabama continues to sit atop the rankings, and Kansas State also held strong at No. 2 overall. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish jumped up two spots to No. 3 following their win over Oklahoma, while the Oregon Ducks sit in fourth place. The LSU Tigers round out the top five.

Georgia moved up to sixth in the rankings following their win over the Florida Gators, who dropped from second to seventh. South Carolina lost star tailback Marcus Lattimore for the season to a devastating leg injury and is now ranked eighth. Florida State and Louisville round out the top 10.
