Dan Haren takes to the mound for the Angels to face Hisashi Iwakuma of the Mariners.

The Los Angeles Angels and the Seattle Mariners prepare to wrap up their regular season with two meaningless games on Tuesday and Wednesday. Los Angeles saw its playoff chances end yesterday when the Oakland Athletics clinched their Wild Card berth. Now they have to play their next-to-last game against Seattle tonight.

The Angels lineup should look pretty familiar to those familiar to Los Angeles fans.

1. Mike Trout LF
2. Howie Kendrick 2B
3. Albert Pujols DH
4. Kendrys Morales 1B
5. Alberto Callaspo 3B
6. Mark Trumbo RF
7. Hank Conger C
8. Peter Bourjos CF
9. Andrew Romine SS
P: Dan Haren

Dan Haren heads to the mound as he looks to end the season with a plus-.500 record. Haren currently stands at a 12-12 record, all while posting a 4.32 ERA. Haren went only 5-1/3 innings and gave up three runs off of six hits in his previous start against Seattle.

There is one significant change in the Mariners lineup. Michael Saunders is in at centerfield as Franklin Gutierrez recovers from a groin injury.

1. Dustin Ackley 2B
2. Casper Wells RF
3. Kyle Seager 3B
4. John Jaso C
5. Justin Smoak 1B
6. Jesus Montero DH
7. Michael Saunders CF
8. Trayvon Robinson LF
9. Munenori Kawasaki SS
P: Hisashi Iwakuma

Hisashi Iwakuma will be the Seattle pitcher looking for his tenth victory, and is hot off a a two-game winning streak, beating the Angels (and Haren, coincidentally) in his last start.
