The Long Beach State 49ers continued their winning ways on Saturday night with a 75-61 win over the Cal State Fullerton Titans at the Walter Pyramid. It was the 18th straight home win for Long Beach State, and the 17th consecutive regular season win for the 49ers in Big West Conference play.
The 49ers hold a two and a half game lead over the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, whom they have already defeated on the road this season. UCSB has defeated Long Beach State in the final of the Big West Conference tournament in each of the last two seasons.
