Dwyane Wade Injury: Heat Guard Misses Tuesday's Game With Lakers Looming Thursday

Stay connected for news and updates

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade is battling a series of leg and foot injuries, which could affect his status for Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers on TNT. Wade missed Tuesday night's game against the San Antonio Spurs, four days after spraining his right ankle against the Denver Nuggets on Friday.

Wade has missed four of Miami's 13 games this season. "[Wade] has also been battling a sore left foot, which caused him to miss three games earlier this season, and a calf strain that he suffered last week," reported Brian Windhorst of ESPN. "Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, who announced that Wade would be unavailable, has not set a timeline for when the team thinks Wade could be back"

Wade is averaging 19.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game this season.
