WCC College Basketball Schedule: BYU Hosts Loyola Marymount, Comes To Pepperdine

The Loyola Marymount Lions nearly had a perfect week in the West Coast Conference. They got their first win in Malibu over the Pepperdine Waves in 13 years on Thursday, then followed that up with a close battle at home against the No. 21 Gonzaga Bulldogs, ultimately suffering a four-point loss.

Pepperdine, in addition to losing to LMU, also fell in San Francisco to the Dons, running their losing streak to five games. The Waves have a tough week ahead, with a road battle Thursday against the conference-leading Saint Mary's Gaels, who are 17-2, and a home game against conference newcomers BYU Cougars. Here is a look at the WCC schedule for the week ahead:

Thursday, January 19

Loyola Marymount at BYU, 5:30 p.m. (BYUtv): The Cougars are 10-1 at home this season

Pepperdine at Saint Mary's, 7 p.m.

San Francisco at Gonzaga, 7 p.m.

San Diego at Portland, 7 p.m.

Saturday, January 21

San Francisco at Portland, 1:30 p.m.

BYU at Pepperdine, 5 p.m. (Fox Sports West)

San Diego at Portland, 5 p.m.

Saint Mary's at Santa Clara, 8 p.m.
