UCLA vs. Stanford Injury Report: Andrew Abbott, Tony Dye Questionable With Injuries

Stay connected for news and updates

The already dilapidated UCLA Bruins secondary might have a few more holes to fill this Saturday as cornerback Andrew Abbott and strong safety Tony Dye are both questionable for their matchup with the Stanford Cardinal and Heisman hopeful Andrew Luck this weekend.

Abbott is still suffering from some side effects of a nasty collision he was part of in week three, leaving him concussed and missing some game time. Abbott is slated to be Sheldon Price’s replacement this week against Stanford, but hasn’t been fully cleared for practice yet and didn’t play last week against Oregon State.

As for Dye, he’s been cleared to take part in limited practice with his injured shoulder, which left him out of last weekend’s game in which he was considered ‘50-50’ for. Unless he makes some leaps and bounds of recovery over the next 20 hours or so I’d say Dye sitting it out would be a safe bet this week.
