Former Laker Javaris Crittenton Arrested In Orange County

Former Los Angeles Laker Javaris Crittenton has been arrested at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, according to an Associated Press report. Crittenton is wanted for the murder of 22-year-old Jullian Jones on the night of Aug. 19th.

The investigation into Jones' murder, which took place in Atlanta, proved fruitless until last Saturday, when police gathered enough evidence to accuse Crittenton of the murder. the police obtained a murder warrant for Crittenton but weren't able to locate him until Monday night.

Crittenton's lawyer, Brian Steel, stated earlier Monday that Crittenton wants to turn himself in. He went on the tell the Associated Press that, "He's (Crittenton's) not guilty. We look forward to getting this to the courts."

The sad saga seems to be nearing its climax, and we will find out soon enough whether or not Crittenton actually committed the murder. For now, all we can do is hope for the best for both Crittenton and the Jones' family as they deal with these tough times.
