Kings Overcome Third Period Deficit, Defeat Avalanche

Denver, CO (Sports Network) – Brad Richardson and Justin Williams both scored third-period goals, lifting the Los Angeles Kings to a 4-2 win over Colorado in preseason action.

Michal Handzus and John Zeiler also tallied for the Kings, while Jonathan Bernier stopped 21-of-23 shots.

Philippe Dupuis and Kyle Quincey both lit the lamp for the Avalanche. Craig Anderson started between the pipes and turned away all but one of 18 shots he faced. John Grahame replaced Anderson midway through the second period and surrendered three goals on 24 shots the rest of the way.
