Dodgers Activate Jeff Weaver From DL; Sore Shoulder Sidelines Travis Schlichting
Before today’s game with the Reds, the Dodgers activated pitcher Jeff Weaver from the disabled list, and placed reliever Travis Schlichting on the disabled list with a sore right shoulder.
Weaver is 5-1 with a 5.35 ERA in 36 games this season for the Dodgers. He was on the disabled list since August 3 with left knee tendinitis.
Schlichting was just recalled on Friday when Vicente Padilla was placed on the disabled list. Schlichting pitched 2/3 of an inning Saturday night against Cincinnati.
