Dodgers Make It Official: Furcal To DL, Juan Castro Called Up
The Dodgers made official the move expected from last night:
Today the #Dodgers placed SS Rafael Furcal on the DL (retro to 8/3) and purchased the contract of INF Juan Castro from Triple-A
Castro is in Philadelphia today, and is available to play tonight if needed.
Furcal is eligible to be activated from the disabled list on August 18.
