Ducks Sign Center Trevor Smith To One-Year Deal

The Anaheim Ducks have signed 25-year old center Trevor Smith today to a one-year deal, per a team press release. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Smith was signed by the New York Islanders in 2007, and appeared in seven NHL games during the 2008-2009 season. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound center, a native of North Vancouver British Columbia, has played four seasons for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the American Hockey League.
