Manny Ramirez Placed On Disabled List; Xavier Paul Recalled

After tonight’s game, Manny Ramirez was placed on the disabled list with an inflamed right hamstring, per Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times. Xavier Paul was recalled from Triple A Albuquerque to take Ramirez’s place on the roster.

This is the second DL stint of the season for Ramirez, who was on the disabled list earlier this season with in injured right calf.

Paul had two previous stints with the Dodgers this season, during stints on the disabled list by Ramirez and Andre Ethier. Paul hit .281 with a .328 on-base percentage and .404 slugging percentage in 20 games, including 14 starts.

Ramirez will be eligible to be activated from the disabled list after the All-Star break.
